Dr. R. Tanikawa was born and raised here in Southern Orange County. After attending San Diego State University for his undergraduate studies, he went on to earn his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. Dr. Tanikawa fell in love with dentistry while volunteering with non-profit groups providing free dental care to underserved communities in San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico. He’s passionate about providing exceptional dental healthcare services to his patients. When he's not practicing dentistry, Dr. Tanikawa enjoys cooking and discovering new restaurants.
